Just yesterday, added another Ranger to my collection, making 2 now. This one is an '06 Ranger single cab, SWB 2wd w/22k on the clock. The drivers door, when going over rough roads or hitting a bump, shakes causing a heavy rattle where the door latches to the side post latch. The fit of the door seems normal, just seems it's loose at the latch. Anybody know how I can tighten this or make it more secure to keep from rattling ?

I have seen some Chevy trucks that had a high strength plastic bushing on the striker post. When is wore out the door would rattle.
Also check and see if the door rubber stops are all in place. There are two I know of: one near the top of the rear corner of the door and another near the latch I think. If they are missing or worn that could let it rattle too . . .
