Ratrod Ranger anyone?

Whoever created this thing has a hell of an imagination. Pt Cruiser rear section? Wow. I am a fan of rat rods, and have spent some time studying them in person. I have considered the possibility of using a newer truck as the basis for one, but could not think of a way to make it look right. If the plan is to run an open engine in the front as in no fenders, hood, or core support, I think the firewall is too wide to look right. Also, a modern style front suspension, be it strut, ttb, double wishbone, or whatever, just does not look right on a rat rod. Personally, I think the street rods running around with all chromed MustangII double wishbone front suspension look like shit, however good they may handle. All that is my own opinion. Somebody buy this thing, finish it, and prove me wrong. I'll be the first to admit it's cool when you get it right.

i agree with upnsmoke, the firewall would look too big with just the engine and suspension components, but if from mid door forward you could bob it, it would look amazing. :headbang:
Just a thought tho

the idea that I had was suiciding the ibeams, meaning I would move them all the way to the front of the frame, with the radiator/engine all behind, I would of course lower it as much as possible as well.
