one of the biggest reasons that the credit industry has blown up the way it has is because people viewed cc cards as money, not as a short term loan. they lowered your limits because the risk making that loan has gone up. how is that a bad business practice in any way?

Because I am one of the responsible ones who has it and never uses it.

Haha...but I'm sure there are some people out there that if you did that, you'd see it on your next statement as a service charge...
