Rangers Up the Mountain...

So my buddies and I tried to get up to Chehailis lake, but theyve dug a big trench on the trail up, and its too steep/soft for our trucks. So we kept wheelin till it got too drunk out, and we set up camp...

This lil fella had the door wide open, with the key in the ignition...hmmm.....

Stopped for a quick swim...

LUNCHTIME!!!!!

After a few smokies and beers, we headed up again and passed another big excavator sittin on the side... shorty after, we found the thing he dug...

...shoddy bridge crossing...

Theyve got cross ditches dug the whole way up, for water drainage. This was eroding on one side, and buddy wasnt paying attention and it ate his truck..... good thing I brought the strap...

i was up to the lake on my quad right after the slide, the river was not so purdy then.good to see it flushed itself,cant believe the carnage from the slide.ill have to take another trip up to slay some fish.

Aaaahhhhh i love that area!!!! I've been camping up there once, right before they destroyed the entrence!!!! So you say theres lots of steelhead... hmmmmm i might be making my way over there!!! this weekend... just have to check the fishing guide lol

Thanks, yup love it up there.... yea, im needamudpit on some other forums... That trail is just past the Sasquatch Inn, take yer first left and go explore... the 08 is runnin 32x11.5s on 15x8 rims

This one! Just a beautiful place bud. This is Canada right?

I live in sunny California, believe me it's pretty much outdoor weather year round but I would definitely enjoy cold winters with snow to live in a beautiful place like that. I like Colorado too! Maybe when the kids grow up I can make that move.

Nice! Yup, thats British Columbia, Canada. And actually, here on the west coast we rarely see any snow... maybe a couple inches in January...2-3, and its gone in a week... lots of rain though. Heck, gimme a shout when you make the move and ill show ya round... places like this are dime a dozen around here...
