Wife was watching the waco tv miniseries/movie and one of the guys was rolling around in a sharp white 1st gen BII. It even was a 86-88 as evidenced by the brief interior shot and seeing the warning cluster.

Which means a 2.9.

I think there was one in Escanaba in Da Moonlight as well. Despite that movie taking place in the early 80s there was also a 97+ F-150 and an Expedition.

It is fun to have one pop up in the middle of a tv show or movie.

No now you can just watch the movies that the Ranger makes a cameo in.

Ever notice people driving on TV also have the uncanny ability to have 5 minute long conversations with their passenger and only glance vaguely at the road once or twice... and roads are always wet... WHY ARE THE ROADS ALL WET!?!

Thats an old filming technique so the light reflects for the camera. Kinda like Milk was actually the rain in black and white movies

Speaking of my buddy just towed one where the police flipped the ranger over the guard rail.... the motor was held down by a chain and the seat were not bolted down either

They did a pretty good job in the movie Dazed and Confused of keeping the vehicles period correct, but if you look in the background you can see a BroncoII.

I was watching a show once where someone was having a flashback to the 70s and they showed an 87-91 F150 come motoring by.

Not that it's super-high production value, but if you watch the opening credits of That 70s Show one of the headlights on the blue screen is that same 97-03 Ford 1/2 ton.
