Rangers in your family?

Nobody but me in my family...

But I have owned 11 of them... I was trying to make up for their mistakes.
Well, I can't match that. But I have had 7, loved them all. Only one in my family also.

I had an '83 Ranger from '93-'96, drove an '93LX Mustang for a few years, then got the '01 Ranger in '04 Drove it for 5 years before it blew a head gasket. Now it's sitting in the back yard next to a "for parts" '00 Eddie Bauer v8 Explorer. waiting patiently for it's heart transplant. My lil' brother had a '03 XLT excab for a few years before he converted to a Dodge guy. I still don't know how that happened.

The rest of my family has always been GM/Toyota. I'm the only ford wierdo.

My best friend bought a 1989 Ranger 2wd XLT with a 2.9. He put like 150k on it and then did a Jasper engine. He sold it to my father with like 170k on it. My father drove it for five years and traded it for a Tundra.

I bought my 1997 XLT 4.0 4x4 Supercab in 1999. The frame was rotting out from the salt and brine on the roads. Got rid of it when I moved to FL. Damn I miss it.

I have the itch to get another. I love my current ride, a 2018 Nissan Titan XD.

I’ve bought 2 Rangers for my mother. A 90 supercab 4.0l auto, and a 92 regular cab 4cyl 5spd.

My fiance's grandpa had a '95, which we now have. Otherwise I'm the only one. My dad has a '92 but only because I bought it first and fixed it up a little for him to use as a beater firewood hauler.

Like my choice in military service and making it a career, my choice in vehicles has been unique in the family as well. I'm the only one who went Air Force and no one else has ever owned a Ranger.

Dad had a F-350 Ranger.

Mom had a '94 Explorer

I was the first "real" Ranger.

I didn't know it until fairly recently that my wife's grandfather bought a '91 XLT new. When he passed away her uncle in Denver got it, he recently passed away and now my inlaws have it. 4.0/automatic std cab longbed with a topper and 66k miles.

Dad had a “ranger package “ ‘74 F250 but Ive had the only ranger compact trucks. Im on my 5th one now.

I forgot that we had a 1978 Bronco "Ranger" trim when I was a wee lad.

My Dad had a 95, 99, and 98.
Cousin drives 04
I had a 91 that I purchased for 500 and resurrected.
Now I drive an 02 and there are 4 Rangers within a block of me

Dad= 96 XLT super cab 2wd
Brother= 04 Sport trac 4x4 (I think it counts)
Uncle= 93 XL 2wd and 98 4x4(I sold him)
Aunt= 84 F100 Ranger
Me= 20 XLT sport 4x4

That's current. I dont have time to post all we have had over the years. I come from a long line of Ford guys. My late grandfather wouldn't drive anything but. He worked for the forestry department at a fire tower. When they decommissioned it they gave home GMC to drive. He left that thing sitting and drove his 84 F100 Ranger to the fires. That thing was like brand new when he retired. The 84 is still in the family. that 300 straight 6 is unbelievable. It has like 600000 miles on it. Still makes weekly trips to the dump for Aunt
