Hey gotta 2000 ranger 3.0 feels like when driving it, it's holding back. What is going on with it?

Someone posted something very similar just the other day...could be brakes are locking up a bit...but if you were driving a manual transmission you may notice the front end drops a bit when you push in the clutch...automatics wouldn't give you that effect...

Could be any number of other things also...like dirty air filter...tire pressure is way low...among others...

How is the gas mileage lately? Did you or anyone else recently do any work on it or have anything replaced? Any codes showing up on a scanner...or Check Engine Light?
