Ranger Wildtrak warped discs

I have a ranger wildtrack, only 12 months old 17,000 miles. just recently wobbly steering when braking, local ford dealer says discs are warped and wont be covered by warranty, the pads are still original and are only 25% worn, anyone know of any prevoius disc problems
