I've got an 85 ranger that I'm slowly turning into a prerunner, I need to get some bigger coil springs to fix my camber as it sits right now. My question is will F150 coils fit in my ranger buckets? And if I bought some 6 inch lift F150 coils, will that equate to a 6 inch lift on my ranger?

Thanks for your help.

You can make them fit. 88 f150 extended cab 5.8l front coils lifted my b-2 about 2.5". I haven't tried lift coils but I suspect that f150 6" lift coils would get you closer to 8 or 9".
6"+2.5"=8.5"

The F-150 lift coils I purchased were slightly larger in diameter, I welded a strap around the bucket instead of using the "J" clips. I did drive it before putting the strap on, and had no issues. They were advertised as 6" coils, but never really measured.

Thanks guys. I might just jack my truck up to take the load off my springs and measure them then have the guy with the f150 measure his.

Thanks for the pic. That's actually a huge help cuz my current springs don't fit in the j clip and I've been trying to think of some ways to mod it.
