Ranger Sport Honduras official build thread

Well then I'm gonna do it boys. The slight flare in the deflector won't line up with the sides of the grille but it will still be cool. And as I always do my stuff I will make it easily removable in case it turns out like crap lol.

at least my thread was worth to give u an idea

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or did you WELD to a SPRING?!?!?

the U shaped clamps are welded to the extra coil i added.
the extra coil has a couple welded points just for keeping it steady.
sounds bad, but trust me it has held with no problem lol :icon_welder:

i raised the brush guard today, looks way better now.

yeah it looks better, but if u see the 1st pic, the right side has like 4 inches and the left has about 2 inches from the turn light
im taking it back to the shop on monday so the guy fixes the brackets.

so i took off the brush guard, the brackets are way off center, so im taking it to a specialized shop, the same place were i got the step bars.
while the brush goes back on i painted the bumper valance. the "stock dark grey" was fading and looked like blue under direct sun light, so i painted it flat black.
gonna take better pics tomorrow

also did some touch up work on the bumper scratches. looks like new again :D

keep chippin' away at it, brother! you're definitely making a lot of progress.

thanks man!!! i was taking it to the brush guard fix tomorrow, but the damn CEL is still on and sometimes it feels like misfiring, it even died a couple times when suddenly releasing the gas.
so im taking it to the mechanic, the BG can wait.
and the fender flares.... i got those on mind lol

i was misfiring BADDDD, i mean real bad, like i couldn't even make it to college before turning around to take 'er home. i replaced the 4th cylinder plug twice and then the 3rd cylinder started misfiring so i replaced that plug and now it's running like a damn dream. i suggest doing a full tune up, if you can. plugs and wires. i'm doing the other 4 plugs and the entire set of wires on friday.

i did a full tune up sometime ago.
also a complete injector and sensor clean up, that helped alot. but since the od port fuse was blown and the cig lighter one too- which seems to share a power line with the port, we couldnt scan it. im replacing the fuses tomorrow and hopefully we can scan it so we can fix the issue once and for all. im suspecting a faulty sensor, hopefully it wont be that bad

well, good luck, brother. i don't know a lot about the 4th generation 2.5s, i never had one so i never had a reason to learn about them.

turned to be both coolant temp sensors and IAC valve.
we cleaned the IAC before, but seems that it didnt help.
the blown fuses were the cause the scanner didnt recognize the trucks ecu.
the truck is coming out tomorrow :yahoo:
