Ranger splash

Hi, i own a 97 ranger 2.3L splash. I had an accident and need to replace most parts on my front end. I know someone who owns a 97 ranger but it isn't a splash. I was wondering if the pieces would fit on mine before i buy it.

all the parts interchange with no problem the grill won't be painted like the splash but everything will interchange

The only difference between a splash and a regular truck is the bed being a stepside and if its a 4x4 the regular truck will probably have the plastic fender flairs.

even the tailgate? i thought maybe that mine would be smaller?

No a regular standard bed tailgate won't work on your Splash bed, because your bed is a stepside.

I also had another question. What other years would the parts fit. Would a 96 ranger bumper and grill fit, or a 98?

93-97 front parts are interchangeable. That's the Gen III series. 98 started Gen IV, different nose, lost the TTB suspension.
