So I've been wanting a Super Duty for a while now. A 2005-2007 Crew Cab 4x4 with the PSD. They are still too expensive. Last night I was on autotrader and came across a truck I've liked in the past and forgotten about... The 2002-2003 Ranger with manual tranny AND transfer case. Also known as the FX4 Level II.

There is one 100 miles from me for $11995. Seems a bit high for a 2002 truck, but it looks flawless and only has 77K miles. How much is too much for something that there are only 3 for sale in the US?

Darn....way to much...you getting a warranty?? I DON'T THINK SO!!!! If you are desperate enough to buy a clean used ride...go to Carfax. I sent my little sister to Carfax last month and she got a '08 4x4 Jeep Liberty...this is just what she was looking for. Got the color she wanted as well. Non smoker and only 35,000 miles on it. She also got a three year warranty on it as well. Out the door price with the warranty was right at $13,645. Not really bad at all. If I was going to buy a used car I would go to Carfax as well. I want a warranty with what ever I buy used.....unless I want to get another 75-77 Bronco...lol

You mean carmax? Unfortunately this truck is RARE - Did I mention that. When I did a search on Autotrader this was the ONLY one that was decent, there was another on a shitty lift kit with ghey lights bolted to the bumper, over 100K miles, for $1000 more.

Shoot!

nope he means Carfax. it's a history of how the truck was maintained, maybe repaired after a wreck.

i bought a 2006 ranger xlt extended cab with 38,000 on it for 12,995. and for 1500 bucks i got a 4 yr 80,000 mile warranty. im pleased. yours though is way to high.

I paid around 11k for my 2002 with only 29,000 on it at the time... FWIW.

I wouldn't pay $12k for a 8 year old Ranger... I think that is a little more than my F-150 books for with 4k more miles.
