:icon_rofl: me 2 lol and there is one on base here i see all the time ill try to get a pic lol

Back when I first got mine sometime around 2000 there was somebody with a truck on ebay that had dually fenders grafted onto a first generation truck. It looked really good.
According to the Tech Library http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Fiberglass.html and http://www.usbody.com/ (click on 83-92 Ford Ranger link off from the sidebar menu) you could get a fiberglass kit to make your Ranger look like a 40's Ford.

Something about this thread made me start looking around to see one of these flaresides....

And wouldn't ya know, there's one sitting in a driveway on the edge of town...

It's black with gray graphics and sitting in poduncville SD:icon_rofl:

Now there's 9 out of 15 found on this site:icon_rofl:

Well I took my dog for a run this morning and as I was running I looked over and what do I see Number 10! It looks to be in real good condition too, I wish I had more time on leave to see if I could get more up close pictures with permission.

Dude..........Um....... I don't know how to break this to you, but that looks like an F-150.....:icon_idea:

well cant check now seeing as how im in NC now but unless the 150 was smaller in the 80s cause it was about the size of my truck but if im wrong im wrong

Look at the wheels, unless someone shortened some f-150 Axels and crammed them under ranger, that is a mid-late 80's step side f-150. The wheels are the same ones that are ran on some fulsize f-150's and fulsize broncos, that's the main way you can tell right off the bat:icon_thumby:

You can see there is a button under the door handle in the top pic and the horizontal marker light in the pinstripe in the bottom pic too.

First generation Rangers didn't have a door button (you just pull on the handle) and the marker light was vertical.
