Hey all, so I got laid off at work and have some free time so I've been looking for projects and this one came to mind. I have a 97 with the ttb front end. I put 2.5" leveling adapters under the coil springs but no radius arm drop bracket. My springs are arched forward and the truck still isn't level. Would adding drop brackets gain me any more lift in the front? Has anyone fabricated drop brackets and would care to share some pictures/measurements? Thanks!

The radius arm drop bracket won't get you any lift, but it will correct caster. Same with the beam brackets, no lift but will correct camber.

Both my camber and caster are within factory specs..I can drive 75 no problem straight as an arrow. But the 2.5" lift spacers didn't make a difference and I feel like it's either the sway bar or radius arms keeping the beams tucked tight. It was very difficult to get the spacers and springs back into the truck between the beam and frame.

I can't believe that 2.5" lift spacer didn't raise the truck 2.5". Can you provide a pic or link to the lift spacer? Also of it installed on your truck. Did you change shocks for the longer travel? Perhaps the brake lines are tight?

The spacer is just the cheap eBay aluminum spacer. It measured 2.5 inches. I'll post a picture of it installed today. The springs are bowed forward slightly which is where I think I lost most of the beneficial lift. I just don't know what's holding the axles up from dropping further down. The shocks were not changed but at ride height they aren't the problem as they have further travel than ride height. Brake lines are loose. It's either the radius arms or sway bar from what I can see.
