You can enter your own Ranger, but it will require a few safety items be added to your truck. A 4-point cage with a door bar, helmet and neck brace, etc.. No driveline mods, no engine swaps, no power adders, no suspension mods but you can adjust the factory suspension to your liking, steel wheels only but any tires you desire. Personally, I'd go with some cheap d-windows about 10" or 12" wide with some nice street radials to help you carry speed through the corners.

Apparently it will be on pay-per-view, but I'm cheap so I'll wait to see it a couple weeks later for free...

I've seen this, they say no power adders but they don't specify any year range.
How would a 2019+ ranger in stock form stack up to the older ones?
I know there are some wrecked new rangers out there!

Sadly the entry time limit has been reached and as of yesterday 120 rangers were signed up but there was a limit to how many can participate so the Promoter, Cleatus McFarland (not his real name BTW), said first come first served unless the truck cant meet all safety aspects then the next in line gets a chance.

It was surprising how fast the list grew. Those that live in Florida may have a place to race the Rangers in the future, or at least I'm hoping so...

We actually had the opportunity to talk with cleatus in Vegas for 20 minutes or so during ls fest in Vegas. Garret and Jimmy are very down to earth guys that just happened to find a way to make a great living doing what they love.
Both of them all greasy and dirty took the time to talk to the fans during an engine swap!

I'm kinda torn on this. I like the fact that there's going to be so many rangers together, but cringe at what's going to happen to them.

Anyone in Florida going to this?

Also, why are so many entering extended cabs?

The longer wheelbase is easier to keep going straight.
* at least that's what I've read for off road racing. probably true in asphalt too.

Lots of videos on YouTube about purchases and clean outside. I'm not calling them build ups yet.
