At least you do not have much highway to cruise on there!

edit: Just realized this was the STranger. Is that the same truck im thinking of with the solid TTB dana 50 or am I mistaken? Have any offroad shots?

lots of sticks-it's like a friggin forest in there.got the one for the auto,of course, then both cases are twin stick.the 435's have a seperate stick for each gate,so theres three for each.i dont need antitheft-if you can figure out what does what, take it.....but i don't think you'll get far.:icon_rofl: btw:it's in the process of the refit now,a new thread will be showing up in the 'under construction' forum soon.

Very interested in your shifter setup on the 435's. did you mod the original top cover of fab one up yourself?

Nice work on ALL your projects! Keep it up man!

Very cool truck, out of curiosity could we get a shot of the underside of that monster? Id love to see how its all hooked up

i'm nearly done the work project that has been keeping me from all the fun stuff, then there will be a full build thread on this that has every detail you could want, and some you might not:D

i modified the original cover-i cut off the shifter tower, then welded a plate over the hole.the shifters link to the rails through the plugged holes in the back of the cover, which is now facing forward as the whole auxillary trans/tcase setup is turned backwards(the t-case is at the front)

yup, that's me.when i came back after a 5 year sabbatical from the internet i realised the name was overused,i wanted something a little more unique.and yes, that's a tied-together d50ttb,but it is in the process of getting a d 60 now.

i figured the easiest way to explain the drivetrain on this thing was to draw a simple schematic...so this is it.front is to the left.

in this pic you can see the 435s above the rear suspension arm.

is the front end one-linked?

two, sort of.it has the one pivot that you can see in the photo, plus a panhard bar for lateral positioning.the rear has an upper a-arm,and the two lower links,so it's a three link setup.

very interesting.

very interesting.

an apt description.i've heard some colorfull (not always nice) terms to describe it too.seems not everyone has a sense of humor:icon_hornsup:
