Ranger on 2.5tons aka project fire in the hole


Looks like your tracbar frame mounts will peal away if you land wrong...Are you planning on tieing them into the cage??

they should be plenty strong i got them cross braced with a .120 wall tube coming from the bottom of the mount across to the other side of frame .. i not worried about it at all
 
its been a long time and things got crazy but finally started to finish this thing got the whole thing blown apart into pieces to finish the frame and paint everything and start reassembling for the last time and get it all plumbed ...heres a couple pics will have more this week of it going back together

got the roll cage painted ordered flywheel and clutch today so going back together next week for final time:headbang:

Shouldn't the track bars be more level at ride height?? it looks to me that that being at a steep angle would really throw the axles out of alinement when the axle moved up or down.


Also can you e-mail me a set of those ultra tall jack stands???? :)

Thanks buddy how's ur build coming? ...and yes technically they are suppose to be as straight as possible but u can only do so much with huge trucks ...you always just want your track bar and draglink the same angle and close to same length so you don't get bump steer...haha I will get right on sending those stands to you lol

Mine's sort of at a stand still right now, seeing progress on yours has me itching to do something to mine though.
