Ranger Mounting Location For Backup Camera

^A+++. We have them on three of our vehicles. They all came with brackets to mount them to the license plate frames. Easy as pie, Bro!!! I also have one that the monitor works as the rear view mirror. Really neat and simple to install. Man...the best safety feature you can add for parking lots and backing out of the garage where you know kids play.

I've got a 2" hitch ball in the stock bumper. Would that block the camera? I agree that the license plate mount is probably the best place for it.

depends on camera.

I connected mine on a separate switch, this way i can randomly switch on and off without having to change into reverse. This works well when towing and you need to check up if all is still well behind you. Just for peace of mind
