Hey Im new to this site, I have a 1989 Ranger 4x4 custom. right now Im looking to order a 4inch rough country lift for it. I think im just going to use the 4 inch blocks for the rear end for now. My question is that although my ranger is stock height, there is already block under my rear leaf springs. they do look factory because its got a stop plate for when you bottom out the rear suspension. When I get the lift blocks with the kit will it replace this stock block or do i just put it ontop or underneath it. Also If anybody has and comments on the 4inch rough country lift id appreciate it.
thanks.

ditch the factory block and swap in the 4" in the kit. This will make the truck level when its all done. You really only gain 2" in the back and 4" up front. The RC kit is a good kit for most anything mild, i run it in my b2 and it holds up just fine and it didn't cost alot. Be sure to drop your bumpstops in the front or you could punch a hole in your diff if you bottom out!

With 4 inch blocks, you will have axle wrap. You should either run a 2 inch block and shackles, or get some sort of a traction bar to control axle wrap.
