Does anybody have a leveling kit on their ranger. I'd like to give my truck proably a 3" lift, but its a pretty pricy, plus adding in new bigger tires. My neighbor got a leveling kit for his 07 F-150 and I like the look more than having the whole thing lifted. I saw some spacers for the front coil springs, but they were not for my model year. I've got an '02 supercab 2WD 3.0L with an automatic transmission if that makes any difference.

Any one with any suggestions or thoughts.

i think a 2002 has torsion bars. you should be able to turn the bolt on the end of the torsion bar and get about two inches of lift, with out any parts. if your truck has torsion springs. i did this on my 96 explorer, you can go more than 2 inch, but it limits your down travel. make sure you jack up both front wheels, and adjust equally.

Any specific package?

Trail heads and some edges IIRC use a torsion bar suspension on a 2wd like the "pre-runner" option on the Tacoma.

Just normal stock. No "edge" or "trail head." By the way, what is the difference in the edge models.

Depends which model of 2wd you have. If it is an Edge you can turn up the torsion bars. 2wd Edges have the 4x4 torsion bar suspension. If it is an XL or XLT, it has coil springs so you are looking at a 2wd lift from Camberg, Pro Comp, or Fabtech. Easiest is probably dropped spindles which doesn't actually change anything in your suspension.
