Here's a few pics of my '00 Ranger. Bought it with a seized motor and took a few months getting it going. Bought the truck for $350 and the 2000 parts truck pictured for $700. Parts truck was t boned but had a 50k mile motor which is in mine now and donated many good parts including the whole rear axle, front grille, front turn signal lens, splash guards, rear bumper, hitch, factory CD radio and even the antennae. Still have parts off that truck I'm selling like a rebuilt automatic transmission, passenger door, glass, fender, hood and so forth. All in all a good project that didn't cost much and hauls all the goods. Paid another $150 for the almost new wheels/tires from a guy on Craigslist. Actually got 6 wheels/tires for that and 4 of them are like the ones out back with 305/50/15 BFG Euro T/A's. Got lucky with all the parts on this project:

AND THE PARTS TRUCK THAT DONATED SO MANY PIECES TO GET MINE RIGHT:

Thanks. Truck has been running fantastic since the swap. Thank god for the donor truck cause I needed many more parts than at first anticipated like the whole rear axle and on and on. Right now it looks like the front end needs to be redone, I'll take those parts off the donor truck as well. Needed a lot more work than I thought but the end result is good and the cash outlay has been acceptable. You should see how much I can haul with this thing. Easily 2-3 times as much as I can with my '05 RAM Daytona.

I buy things from business liquidations and auctions. Large things and small things alike. This truck can haul more than my '05 RAM Daytona and still get better mileage. Don't have to abuse my Dodge as much anymore!

I dont know if its the lack of nicotine in my system this morning or what, but when i seen that monstrous cage on the back of your ranger, i got really pissed off for some reason.......damn i need a cig.:pissedoff:

NICE FIND!

Suggestion: With the size of that cage, I would think bout takin some of the springs from the donor truck, all but the main leaf so the truck is still mobile, and beef up yours.........go to O'Reillys, get centerin bolt, possibly some longer U-bolts if needed, and it won't squat so bad in the azz and it'll up your ability to fill that cage when needed.....

Wish I could come across a deal like that on a late model Ranger for my next V8 project:icon_idea:....................
