Ranger got new rubber

Finally got tires that really make the truck look like it should, Picked 'em up from a buddy for $400, still had the paint lines in the tread.

Next up is taking the Suspension from my BII project and putting it under the Ranger, but using GM 1/2 ton leaves and moving the axle forward and a bed cage.

What brand tires are those? I'm just curious. Looks good! Nothing like the feeling of new rubber!

There the Sport Kings, They are way quieter than the Mud Rovers and rid like being on a cloud, that may have something to do with being mounted on stock rims

Know what you mean there. I had BFG's on my '99. They take sooooooo many wheel weights to balance and they ride like rocks. Put Toyo's on my truck and they're great. Only one little wheel weight on each rim. The aggresive tire are wicked cool but they are just not practical what so ever for commuting in my opinion. Glad your tires are working well!

I used Equal Balance Bags, The tires were mounted when I bought them and on tire had no weight at all and one had about 8oz of weight. I used 6oz bags and at highway speeds it kinda comes and goes, It Vibrates like hell on sec and the next its perfect so i'm thinking I need to add an additional few oz to make it perfect. I'm not a very big fan of the bags and am hoping that we do get a machine soon
