Ok, guys. Why can't we find one like this for our Rangers? I see them for the F series and other trucks. Not ours!!! Can somebody on this website make one like this. It would mount in between the the opening above the lower valance. There are two good mounting points that could be used for the area that is shown in the photo. I have been looking for a bumper for my truck for about two years and even found a nice 5 month old Warn grill guard with winch mount for $150.00 but have decided on this. My bumper is in near mint shape and I will use it forever I guess.

Not around here. Not too many people will do any welding that will not make them any real money!!! If I had a bunch of large stuff to do I could find somebody to do it!! Go figure!!!! I called a mobile welder once and he wanted $200.00 just to show up......

I could make that myself if I had a welder, which hopefully I will soon!

if you have a local trade school, high school level or above, see if the instructor would be interested in having the class take it on as a project? when i was in welding class the local ski hill had our class build some rails and other pieces for their terrain park and it was a fun project. we didnt make any money from it and the ski place payed for the steel and other materials, so im sure their costs were down too. the auto tech class also had us build engine stands to sell in their swap meet that they held with other area schools. just another idea since it sounds like you dont have the means to build it yourself.

Yes, good idea. My wife is a school teacher and she asked around for me last year. It seems to be a liability issue for some reason. Go figure. If I do find somebody here it will be to make a business out of selling these things. I can go to Ocala, Fl and there are a lot of neat off road peeps up there that might do it but it is such a far drive up there. The would need the truck to make it a perfect fit and then do the powdercoating. I would have to go all the way back up there and it just is a pain for my body to do anything anymore!!!! So many Ranger people and somebody should be able to fab something like this. I have two KC 6 inch Daylighters mounted to my front bumper and I like them but I would like something like this with teh lights mounted to it even better.....

I have a welding buddy up in the Ocala, Fl area. It is just a long way to go to run back and forth to see what needs to be adjusted or tweeked or how far should something be spaced or .........Etc, etc......

You want something done right, do it yourself.

i have been building custom front bumpers/ light bars for the last year, alot of people come up to me and have their doubts ( i'm 20 ) but i have been selling them like hot cakes, the one in the picture is very similar to the one i seem to sell alot of, i have made my own jig where i just cut and tac weld pieces in and can fire off a full front bumper in a little better than an hour. usually go for around $250-300

Wow!! That is a really nice looking bumper!!!

Our issue is that unlike most trucks the Rangers tow hooks are mounted in the centre close together.

The super duty has the best location for it.

I'll have to take a good look at my Ranger and see what points are hiding about.
