ranger/b-series project

[5.o ranger dreams]

i am looking to buy a project ranger, to eventually put a 5.0l in...there are 1993 and 1994's readily available but i would like to know what years are the best to put newer front clips on?
i was told by a unreliable source that there was a change in 1994 or so with the front end...
i just joined this forum, and there are clearly some well informed ppl on here so anyone that can help me out,

1993 and 1994 Rangers are exactly the same. 1993 and 1994 B-Series on the other hand, are completely different. 1993s are not related to the Ranger in any way and don't share any parts. 1994 was the first year they were rebadged Rangers.
