Hey guy's. New to this site kind of. I have been using this site for information for a couple years now and finally couldn't find a tech answer in the tech library. I don't know if I'm posting this on the correct board?

I have a 1990 ranger 2.9L auto standard cab long box 2wd. and i am looking at picking up a friends '90 bronco II with a 2.9L (very cheap). The engine in my truck is screwed but the rest is in great shape. The bronco is in good shape but the tranny is screwed.

So I am wondering if it is possible to put my cab on to the bronco's frame without a ton of fab work, if any? I want a 4wd and need a new motor so this could be a cheap way to go about it if I can do this.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you can do it im in the middle of doing the swap right now i looked around and and all you have to do is make the rear cab mounts and bed mounts if you want to put your bed on you have to cut it down alot.
