Ranger alternator bracket on 87 turbo coupe block

Need help figuring out how to make my 1990 ford Ranger alternator bracket fit on a 1987 turbo 2.3 block. The ranger bracket runs into the turbo coupe intake and the block is also missing some bolt

holes. If anyone has any experience with this let net know.

I'm using my Ranger alternator and power steering bracket on a '86 turbo block, if I remember right I had to drill/tap that rear lower bolt (10mm coarse threads) but the front two mounted up fine, I didn't have any issues with it hitting anything.

@scotts90ranger did you use the thunderbird intake or the ranger one? Do you have any pics?

My setup is from a '86 of unknown origin so it isn't factory intercooled, don't think the intake is different but not sure... I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow but my engine is installed and the alternator is likely in the way... I didn't take many pictures when I put the engine in 10 years ago.

Just realized you're having issues with the bracket mounted to the head for the alternator... I think I'm using the turbo engine bracket for that, didn't realize/remember there was a difference, I did the initial swap in '09 so it's been too long ago...

If you need an older style bracket I likely have one floating around but I'm taking off for a week starting tomorrow...

Ended up notching the ranger bracket to clear the intake and found a longer bolt to go in the first intake bolt hole.
