ranger 3.0 engine swap

Hi I need help. Can a 2003 3.0 ranger engine fit in a 2000 ranger. the scrap yard said to contact a ford dealer and they said the engine they order for a 2000 ranger is a `99 to `01 engine. so now i`ve got some concerns. i`m sure it would fit but what are the issues i`m looking at? the tranny on the engine i`m putting in had a auto tranny and mine is a standard. What about motor mounts, electrical connections and such. any help would be appreciated.
