Ranger 2.3 ECM question

I have a 1994 ranger 2.3 5 speed 2wd
With an ECM #F47F-12A650-ADC
Just wondering if anyone knows for sure if one with the part #F47F-12A650-ADB
Will work as a replacement?

Best I remember that last section is just a revision number for the software. Sounds like it's out of the same year model or one older. Am I right?

If that's the case I'd say it "should" be fine. As long as it's for the same emissions systems on the same engine anyway.

Edit: Well apparently they are both 94 ECUs for a 2.3 with manual. There are waayy too many for that application.
