My Ranger is in great need of a new clutch. It will be my first time doing a clutch project. What clutch kit should i order ? (im not looking for a performance part just something that is quality) I will also need a slave cylinder.

I'm also looking for advice and experience of people who has done it before. I already made my homework, i've read alot about it. THX

Do the 4.0 liter clutch swap there is a write up in the tech section. Its super easy I did it in my b2 and have no complaints.

Well the transmission is a pain in the ass to get out with the exhaust pipes. I did a body lift to get mine out. I just ordered a cheap 80$ clutch kit off ebay. And 10 thousand miles later It's still going strong. I also just did the cheap auto zone parts on all my clutch items and they are also still good.

The trans was kind of easy for me at least had it apart and back together in less then a weekend. I bought most of my swap parts from rock auto flywheel clutch kit starter and oem 4.0 starter wire cost me like 300 bucks. Seeing that the autozone clutch kit that I just put in had less than 1000 miles on it burned up while doing some mild wheeling the 4.0 cluych swap is more then worth it.
