Ive been noticing my trans making these abrupt down shifts from OD to 3rd here and there. At first I thought it was slipping but then watched the tach and saw when it shifted and engaged into 3rd. Some times its just done a quick in between like it went to engage 3rd but didnt and went back into OD and some times it will engage and then shift right back to OD.
Fluid level is in range. I think maby 10k on it right now.
I do know the output shaft seal is leaking, does it replace like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkWOme8yY1w?
