My sons Explorer has a thump under the drivers side when putting it in gear. So I figured that he had a loose nut on the radius arm,or the Poly bushings that i put in a few years ago had gone bad. Nope. Crawled under this morning and found this. :icon_surprised:now we need to get a new one and cut out the old one replace the poly's. :icon_welder:It will have to wait for a couple of weeks.

removed the bracket on this side and fixed it then he bought a cooper mini now the explorer is benched till the snow.

Count your blessings. It could have let go completely while in traffic. There was a new guy posting up here a few weeks ago that had the same problem. His ra pushed through the bracket about 8" while he was driving....

yep thats why he'll be driving the brocno and dad will be driving the dodge. or vice versa. Just came came back form the jy and seeing how I don't have the tools to take it out at the jy we'll have to wait till they call back and say it's ready for pickup. found an wreck that someone got the passengers side already so the side we needed was there but deceided to go with both.

went on vacation so the radius arm had to wait until today. just had time to remove and replace the broken side before the son had to go to work. :icon_thumby:
