Radius arm rust holes

I had more trouble with the bottom bolt through the beam.

When i did the bushings on my 77 i used a stout 1/2 in ratchet and A 6ft bar.

Or are you guys talking about the bolt that runs through the beam?

for me the vertical bolt on a 2wd, not really certain about the OP.

I prefer to use the larger drive breaker bars on the really tough stuff.
they don't deflect and it seems to help putting more force on the bolt rather than waste it bending the bar.

many years ago I was removing the crank bolt on a '92 Taurus SHO and had the 1/2 bar deflected a couple inches, with a pipe of course.
when the bolt finally broke loose the breaker bar unloaded with one hellofa snap. it hit my hand so hard I thought it was broken.

that's about when I decided to start a 3/4 drive collection.
