I am currently installing a EB44 into my 84 Ranger using 79 Bronco Radius arm brackets. I recently purchased a 7 degree C-bushing kit from Bronco Graveyard 66-77. Will the radius arm bushings work with 79 bronco brackets?

IF they dont..

I have a set of 79 Bronco bushings from Duralast..got them at Autozone. No instructions with them and cannot find a halfway good diagram online. What order do the bushings go in? Each side has 2 bushings one is bigger than the other and a white plastic tapered piece..any help here?

yea, I just used the 2 piece bushing set with my 79 brackets. The 2 piece polyurethane kit is pretty self explanatory.

I placed the 2 poly bushings on the bracket, one on each side with the collars facing eachother. There's alittle bit of play back and fourth, i am assuming the bushings will smush together after the arms are in place and the nut tightened down. Did you run into this?

I didn't place them on the bracket, I placed one of them on the stud of the arm, put it through the bracket, then place the other bushing on then the washer and the nut. When you tighten down the nut it pulls out all the play.

thanks thats what i figured what would happen. Now time to get wrenchin :icon_welder: Thanks for the help.

Are the bushings stock or do they an off set to them to correct for front end alignment ?

Some of these bushings have thicker/thinner ends so watch how they install.

the c-wedge bushings have a degree built in to them, but most radius arm bushings are just 0 degree straight donut bushings. They do make some rubber angled bushings but you can very visibly tell that theyre angled.
