after getting the new engine in with the new 2 row radiator. I noticed i have no pressure under the cap. and the temp gauge sits just above the O in NORMAL. I still need to time this beast so that could be a reason it might be running a little warm. but why no pressure in the under the radiator cap?
I checked for leaks and there is none. there is still the same amount of coolant in the radiator then what i filled it with. the Cap is somewhat new replaced little over a year ago. i did some research and the 2.9 and the 4.0 radiator caps are the same.

Could it be the radiator cap leaking pressure? and could be partial reason why its getting a little bit toasty?

Thanks

id have the cap pressure tested. a system that doesnt build pressure has reduced cooling capacity.

ill just go buy a new 1 in the morning cause they will probably charge me just as much to test it lol. i was thinking its the cap:icon_thumby:
