Both the '91 I removed and the '89 b-ii I put back had 29 spot welds per side, 2 body mount bolts, various wiring, misc. other stuff.

Hope that helps,

Richard

That helps a lot!!! Thanks for the speedy reply too! where did you find the bit at?

Core support done...Not a repair I want to do again any time soon, but its great to have it solid up front!

Looks good! I've been searching this all evening trying to find some good pictures. I mainly need to replace the support that is behind the driver's side fender but I may need to replace the core support also, I'll have to take a better look. Not really looking forward to it but at least now I have an idea what I'm looking for/at. Thanks for the help and pictures.

Hmmm, I've never really thought about it but tomahawk350 has done the technically true core support replacement. I don't know what a good term for what I replaced would be:icon_confused: I've been saying in other threads that a support replacement has 29 spot welds per side and that may be misleading info :shok:. I'll try to edit my posts :bawling:

As far as the drill bit, I got it at KMS Tools. A westerrn Canada only company with pretty good prices and selection. If you happen to buy there, use my name as they help support my racing;
Alwaysfloored Racing.
Thanks,

Richard
