What pounds of pressure radiator cap is supposed to be on an 86 2.9? I have a 13 lb. on it now but I think it may be too much . Thinking more like 7. Thanks for the help.

No, 13 PSI cap is appropriate. 7 PSI cap will let your coolant boil out.
