rack and pinion to pitman steering pump

will the power steering pump from my 2wd rack and pinion steering, work with a pitman steering setup?

I am planning on pulling the steering box, and all steering compnents (except pump stuff) from a donor jeep and i believe the steering conversion would be much simpler if I didnt have to change p/s pumps

I am contemplating a 4wd and just trying to get learned on everything im gonna need to do.

truck is an '05 2.3L XL

i think the pump should work with a pitman steering box. im curious about this too, since i have a 4wd conversion for the future

i dont plan on starting the conversion soon, as im going to plan and collect parts over the next couple months, but when all is said and done i will post a build
