What trans is that? I have a couple v8 5spd rangers as well, its nice to see others building them. most the people going up to the v8 switch over to a c4 or c6. Nice to see someone who will actually get to use the power they just added.

It's a top loader 4speed. Did some research and they seem to be plenty strong. I have a C6 for it but I really would like the reliability of the manual while getting a lot more power to the ground. May have to change my gear ratio though.
