I read through this whole thread last night, it made me really excited to go beat on mine today then I wake up to 3" of snow damn Michigan. Luckily MI is at least extremely leniant on vehicle laws, we don't have inspections. Most hassle I get here is fix it tickets for tint every once in a while. The truck looks great though.

Edit: Another question. What tire pressure do you guys run out there? The Pismo pics look like a grainy sand so not very aired down. The MI dunes here is like sugar and have to run 15 PSI at the most I usually go about 8.

Thanks man! pismo is pretty soft as well. I usually run 8 in the rear and 10 up front.

Pics from today, got some badass footage I'll try and post later.

I have a few quick questions. What size bumps do you run? Why did you choose that size over the other? How are the current ones handling the truck?

I'm ordering mine today and just wanted another opinion. From my research, 2.0s are sufficient for my truck.

this is why i havent touched my ranger, because this would happen and id have no money lol and i wouldnt beable to stop. i tried to go this way with my first ranger but just wasnt making enough money, and 185k on the clock demanded something new. but reading all these build threads make me want to break out a sawsall and the welder.
hmm i reall miss that truck...

anyways i love your build. might see you at one of the mdr races some time. i pit with mount racing sometimes.. forgot his race number

I have 2.0 4" fox bumps up front. Plenty for my little standard cab.

Lol yeah thats pretty much what happened to me, had a nice daily driver/play truck then go a little caried away. When you get to beat on it multiple times and have fun without breaking anything or sevicing it, it makes it worth the money.

Perfect then. That's what I ordered but from King. If it's plenty for how hard you drive your truck, it's plenty for my standard cab too. :icon_thumby:

Rode in a trophy truck today, INSANLEY fast! Makes my ranger feel so slow lol.
