i have the Bog Warner IHI turbo and just had a question about it. i had it sitting on the bench with the oil drain port facing up, and i filled it up with some oil just to keep it nice inside, about a week later i had a look and noticed the oil i had put in was down pretty low, so i picked it up to have a peek and saw that the oil all ran out the exhaust. now i've read on some turbos that with out the 50-60 psi of oil pressure they will not hold oil, so is this normal for the IHI or is it time for some seals?

Just put 50 pounds of oil pressure on the oil feed side and see if it leaks out of the exhaust. It's easier to check it now than after it's mounted.

good call, ill give that a try this weekend, thanks
