Ok I have a 92 Super cab Ranger that needs a new rotor (along with new pads :D)
My buddy has a 83 ranger single cab that he wants to sell cheap.

Question is, can I use the rotors off the 83 on the 92? Or should I just spend my Xmas bonus money on a new rotor and useful stuff, instead of toys like I want to? :icon_confused:

wow your not getting much of a bonus.

personally, i think you would be better off with new parts. make sure you get new slide pins.

def not getting a big bonus, thats why I wanted to use his rotors (replaced just before the engine blew up) so I could save a little for my other projects.
So would they fit or not?

Be careful

Most parts places cannot tell which rotor you have.
My 1996 supercab has larger diameter rotors than the regular cab.
.
So first thing to do, measure the diameter of your rotors.

with that kind of gap in years I'd imagine they would be different thickness
