anout to purchase a locker but before i do that
all ford 8.8 28 splines are the same ??
I only ask cuz it seems like some lockers have Manufacture date range

Not necessarily, if the 8.8 your working on has 28 spline axles then all 28 splines are the same, But some 8.8 have 31 spline carriers (i doubt yours does) 98 and older mustang 8.8's (housings and axles)are 3/4 inches shorter on either end than 99 and newer. As far as the carriers go, if you know yours is 28 spline than any 28 spline carrier for the 8.8 will fit, I believe. This include lockers for the 28 spline 8.8, sorry if I confused you.
