Okay so just had a fast question, do the 2.9 heads have a o ring gasket around the spark plug? i let the truck sit for a few days, and on the #1 cylinder the plug is drenched in oil, im also guessing this is the reason for the smoke pouring out the exhaust. any help is appreciated.

Umm, the spark plug is never in contact with significant oil inside the cylinder, even if the piston rings are broken.

An oily spark plug ALWAYS comes from above. In this case, the valve covers, or maybe the oil cap (including sloppy filling).

hmmm maybe valve seals? i inspected the head and i cant see any cracks in the head, but from what i've read the cylinders like to crack on the 1 and 6 cylinder.

Hmm, maybe I misread. I thought you meant the OUTSIDE of the plug, based on the O-ring question.

If the inside is oil fouled, the oil is getting in from somewhere. That's all you can know without additional information (e.g., WHEN does it smoke?).

smokes a little at idle, but a whole bunch its revved pass 1.5k.

It sounds like a bad valve seat or a cracked ring is it missing

it is missing a little that i noticed tonight, compression is close in all cylinders, right around 145-150, so im guessing bad valve?
