Quick question, need help!

I've got a '98 B3000 and its starting to go downhill a little

Most problems are manageable, and I'll get them fixed at the shop, but there's one weird problem that i can't understand.

Every time i turn on my truck (hot/cold, day/night, etc) it beeps 25 times. 5 sets of 5 beeps. The beep itself is the same as when the doors open and the keys in (that one solid toned beep), but it does it 25 times. There are no lights, nothing weird running wise, nothing out of the ordinary, just beeps.

I'm at a complete loss, so hopefully someone here knows whats up. Thanks in advance!

Does your airbag light come on and then go off when you turn it on?

If not it is telling you the bulb is burnt out.

well ill be damned haha. that lights been blocked by electrical tape since before i got the truck, so i never even noticed it was out.

thanks man! any idea on how to make it stop beeping without replacing the light?

You should just replace the bulb. Do a search or start a new thread......
