I have a 92 2wd Ranger with an 7.5" open differential 3.45 ratio. (code 84 on the chart)

Unless there's a better option, I was going to look for an F4 or F6 rear axle and diff, both are the limited slip, F4 is a 3.45, F6 is 3.73.

I'm new to trucks, is this pretty much a direct swap? I had a 300zx VLSD with J30 axles in my old 240sx, but I've never worked with solid rear axles or differentials before. Thanks for any help!

Yep, they should bolt right in.
