out to buy parts, found out truck am working on is a d35 hybrid, just dubble checking that all parts on beam (knuckles, joints, etc.) are D35 parts.

the two inner most shafts on each side are unique to the "Hybred"

The outer shafts, U-joints, spindles, knuckles, rotors and all the rest are D35 parts.

BEWARE, Ford refered to the hybred not as a "D28/35 Hybred"
but as a "D28" and therein lies the problem....

The aftermarket parts suppliers mistakenly believe that EVERYTHING
on the front axle is the same as the pre-1990 D28 axle, that's why you get
asked what your axle ratio is when you go to buy U-joints, brake rotors
wheel bearings etc...

thanks for the input Allan!

ive not run across one until now this is good info!

ive always wondered why they ask for the gear ratio....
never made any since to me....

seems like a giant flaw in the aftermarket parts system i could see some problems arising from this haha lol...

this got me thinking, i wonder if there have been any guys who did a d44 knuckle swap on a 28/35 hybrid? ahha what a goofy set up that might make.
