i am looking to get some information about how f150 suspension components would affect and work with a ranger. say for example ive seen that stock f150gives a bronco2 about 3 inchs of lift. but what would happenif you was to use say a 4 inch lift sping that was designed for the f150 to lift it, what kind of affect would it have to the ranger? thanks for the input.!:icon_confused:

If you're talking about just stuffing bigger springs under there, that's not going to work well. You need a suspension lift kit that includes the axle drop brackets if you want any hope for properly aligning it afterward.

Skyjacker and James Duff both make good quality kits. For a little less $$$ there's also Tuff Country (not to be confused with Rough Country).

What junkie said. I ran F150 springs on a ranger with a heavy ass bumper, cut half a coil off each, and i just barely aligned the from without drop brackets, which in a way created more problems of their own. Spend the money on a decent suspension lift, or just cheap out on a body lift.
