That's funny that you posted that, I just cut my body bushings out in order to replace them.

I didn't realize you had rust in Texas...

Try using a propane torch to heat up the nut that sits below the mount. I had to do that to get mine off. And make sure you've got a socket & ratchet on the bolt head, it'll turn forever and never grab on its own. I had a friend hold the bolt in place on top while I used a breaker bar on the nut on the bottom.

It wasn't rust. It was the new longer bolt going in that broke, with only 2 threads left. Not sure if the bolt was messed up (didn't look like it when I looked at it) or if the nut was crossthreaded from the factory

when something doesnt wanna break loose for me, i do 2 things......first, i heat it up, if that doesnt work, i cut that shit off and figure out how to fix it again. i get along famously with my sawzall, he's done some tremendous work for me

I will cut it loose, once I figure out how it goes together and what to cut apart.

Don't feel too bad I had to cut several off with a torch when I did mine but the real joy came when I hit one of the back bolts with the air gun and gas started pouring out it spun the washer underneath which cut the fuel line.Didn't cross thread any though gonna have to get a buddy and go to work.

Can you buy a replacment bolt set for the body mounts? Also, what grade bolts should be used?

Grade 8. Any welding shop will be able to order the size bolt you need if they don't have it in stock.

I got the bolts that were missing and they are now in, which means I now have 9 out of 10 body bolts in. Just need to figure out that dam body bushing/nut thing.
Also, factory body bolts are grade 5.
