so i asked this before and never got a straight answer. is there any way to remove the speed limiter on my 1994 ford ranger 2.3L i dont want to have to buy a $500 programmer to do it. any other suggestions?

you did get an answer, you just weren't paying attention :D unplug the vss. But do so at your own risk. rangers aren't supposed to go that fast!

they don't make a whole lot of programmers for the obd1 trucks.... good luck.

I thought '94's didn't have speed limiters?

ok everyone says that. my 1994 obd1 ranger has a speed limiter. lol... if everyone says their 93's dont have speed limiters cant i just take the comp out of a 93 and put it directly into mine and wont have limiter? everything is the same.
