Does these wheel have a clear coat on them ? I can see they are machined... if no clear what's the best way to make them shine ?

no theres no clear on them. aluminum polish and one of those mothers power ball polisher attachments for a drill works well

The only way to know for sure is to see if any is flaking off...usually around the wheel weights. Most factory wheels are clear coated. But that style is an exception because there are aftermarket wheels that look exactly like them.

I use Aluminum Brightener (basically phosphoric acid) on bare aluminum wheels. It works great, I've had some very nasty Mickey Thompson and American Racing wheels come out sparkling clean and it really cuts the brake dust right off. Then polish after that. But it's NOT for use on coated wheels, it will remove the coating.

Today I received the mothers polish for chrome and aluminum, and the product doesnt turn black so it has a clear coat on it.

I figured so. I've had several sets of those wheels and they were all coated, but they were copied by aftermarket companies so it's hard to say without seeing the exact wheel in question.
